Fazil Say and the Classical Music Stage as Informal Learning Space is an exploration of the classical music stage within a framework of informal learning through the interactive concert performances of Fazil Say. It delves into the artist's conceptualization of the music-audience nexus along with his motivation for adopting an interactive manner that emerges through a verbal interaction between performer and listener during the concert performances. Using specific concert performances given in Malatya in Turkey, this book presents a detailed demonstration of such a space as a learning medium, and interprets its pedagogical meaning from both the artist's and the audience's perspectives.

ggf. zzgl. Versand

This book deals with - inflationary model building and estimation of cosmological parameters from various quantum field theoretic setup, quantification of reheating temperature, studies of leptogenesis in braneworld and estimation of primordial non-Gaussianity from ${cal N}=1$ supergravity using $delta N$ formalism. The main motivation of this book is to give a complete overview of early universe inflationary cosmology model building based on the prescription of quantum field theory in curved space-time (de Sitter space) to the general readers.

Klein Geometry

Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. In mathematics, a Klein geometry is a type of geometry motivated by Felix Klein in his influential Erlangen program. More specifically, it is a homogeneous space X together with a transitive action on X by a Lie group G, which acts as the symmetry group of the geometry. For background and motivation see the article on the Erlangen program. A Klein geometry is a pair (G, H) where G is a Lie group and H is a closed Lie subgroup of G such that the (left) coset space G/H is connected. The group G is called the principal group of the geometry and G/H is called the space of the geometry (or, by an abuse of terminology, simply the Klein geometry).

Social Production of Private Low income Housing...

The Ogbere case study presents how marginalised and excluded low income people negotiate housing production from a social context of lack of access. This necessitated studying the housing producers, the processes adopted and the houses produced. The family and residential history of the people and informal occupation contributed immensely to their ability to produce houses. Lefebvres theory of space provided insights into the methodology to apprehend low income housing production. The producers who were not new entrants to Ibadan city were highly motivated to own houses rather than rent and higher reasons than making profit from investment for home-ownership.They operated at the margin of representational space and space of representations in abstract space to achieve the unexpected-houses for themselves. The motivation of the Ogbere spatial practitioners were experiential from earlier lived space and everyday life from which they derived substantial indigenous knowledge and social capital that made housing production possible.

Geometry of Müntz Spaces and Related Questions
37,40 € *
ggf. zzgl. Versand

Starting point and motivation for this volume is the classical Muentz theorem which states that the space of all polynomials on the unit interval, whose exponents have too many gaps, is no longer dense in the space of all continuous functions. The resulting spaces of Muentz polynomials are largely unexplored as far as the Banach space geometry is concerned and deserve the attention that the authors arouse. They present the known theorems and prove new results concerning, for example, the isomorphic and isometric classification and the existence of bases in these spaces. Moreover they state many open problems. Although the viewpoint is that of the geometry of Banach spaces they only assume that the reader is familiar with basic functional analysis. In the first part of the book the Banach spaces notions are systematically introduced and are later on applied for Muentz spaces. They include the opening and inclination of subspaces, bases and bounded approximation properties and versions of universality.
